His record-breaking run occurred in the final game of the 1999 season vs. Iowa. His total of 7,125 rushing yards, including bowl games, still holds the record.

His 1999 and 2000 Rose Bowl performances earned him MVP honors in both games, becoming the only player in Big Ten history to win back-to-back Rose Bowl MVP’s.

His outstanding performance throughout his college career earned him the Heisman Trophy in 1999.

Inducted into the Rose Bowl Hall of Fame in 2011, and only two years later inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.

He was the 11th pick to the Giants in the 2000 draft. His NFL Career lasted 8 seasons, playing also for the Broncos and the Texans.
